A guitarist since age 12, my early influences were the rock groups of the late 70's and early 80's, but during my college years my tastes quickly expanded into other directions, including Jazz, Fusion, Reggae, New Age, and Symphonic. After playing in several bands in Dallas during college, I devoted my time to establishing my career and family. But in 2001, I was bitten hard by the musical bug after re-immersing myself into Steely Dan and Diana Krall arrangements of jazz standards. My soloing tends to be lyrical and melodic, but I can adapt to other diverse styles when needed. I am a disciple of both Eric Johnson and Pat Metheny, and consider it my "Mission from God" to spread their influence as far as possible.
